Bertie J. and Sarah Smith will be married 70 years on August 17, 2017.
Bertie and Sarah first met on a blind date. After a three year courtship, they were married on a summer Sunday afternoon at the bride’s home in Brunson, SC.
Family and friends will join in a celebration of their life together on August 19th, given by their children, Merrie (Mike), Christie (Paul), Jay (Betsy), Jackie (Bill) and son-in-law, Scott, husband of daughter, Julie, who passed away in 2016. Joining in the joyful celebration will be their ten grandchildren and three great-grands.
