Jerry Ondo and Mary Ellen Ondo
Celebrate their 50 year anniversary on August 26, 2017
Jerry and Mary Ellen Ondo celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 26. The Ondos were married at St. Francis of Assisi in Gatesmills,Ohio on August 26, 1967. They met while Jerry was studying for his master's degree at John Carroll University and Mary Ellen was teaching at St. Francis of Assisi School. The Ondos spent their 50th anniversary on a European river cruise. They also celebrated with a mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Charleston with their six children: Meghan Geils (Wills), John Ondo (Angela), Matt Ondo (Stephanie), Maura Hall (Brian), Jennie Lloyd (Marc), Heidi Bass (Jordan), and their nine grandchildren.
