Celebrate their 50 year anniversary on October 21, 2017
Linda and Sammie Harrelson of Moncks Corner, SC, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 21, 2017 in the Fellowship Hall of Moncks Corner United Methodist Church with family and friends.
They were married on October 21, 1967 at Union United Methodist Church near Manning, SC.
Sammie is retired from Santee Cooper where he enjoyed being a Land Surveyor and working in Economic Development.
Linda is retired from the Berkeley County School District where she loved being a Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal at Henry E. Bonner Elementary School in the Macedonia area.
The Harrelsons are blessed to have three wonderful daughters and three special sons-in-law. They are Heidi and Kevin Acker of Charlotte, NC; Deena and Wes Boothe of Summerville, SC; and Katie and Matt Metz of Port Orchard, WA. Also joining in their celebration were five delightful grandchildren - Caroline and Anna Boothe, Erin Acker, and Justin and Isabelle Metz.
