Bill was a full-time member of the New York Air National Guard for 16 years. Isabelle was employed for many years as a secretary, and she and Bill both retired from Grumann Aerospace in Bethpage, NY. Bill is especially proud of his work as an engineer on the Apollo Lunar Module.

Story
Isabelle and Bill met while attending South Side High School in Rockville Centre, NY and were married at the United Church of Rockville Centre. They raised their three children there, and were active members of the United Church. Isabelle was a PTA president and Sunday School teacher, and Bill a Cub Scout leader and captain of Eureka Hook & Ladder Company. In 1985, they moved to Freeport, NY where they lived until retiring to Summerville in 1997. For almost 65 years, Bill and Isabelle have been active members of the Masonic fraternities.They attend Dorchester Presbyterian Church.
