Couple Topples Over Wedding Cake, Photographer Captures Their Reaction
On his website, Photographer Tom Hall perfectly sums up the above photo: the unthinkable happened.
Hall shot the Nov. 8 wedding of Amanda Grima and Ken Arbuckle in Queensland, Australia. In lieu of a traditional cake, the couple had a six-tiered display with five "layers" of cupcakes and a single, small cake for cutting on top. When they went to cut it — and check out the photos, it is pretty tall! — they knocked it off the display.
Hall caught the unforgettable moment — and the couple's priceless reactions — on camera. The next day he posted the image to his Facebook page, where it's been liked nearly 9,000 times already.
Despite losing the cutting cake (a few of the cupcakes also were collateral damage) the couple was in good spirits about it.
"They kept it together beautifully," Hall wrote on his site. "When [they] saw the image on the back of my camera, amazingly they giggled."
