Mr. and Mrs. George Cox Scarborough of Charleston, SC announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Oliver Cooper Scarborough of Charleston, SC, to Thomas Carr Devine III of Hilton Head Island, SC. He is the son of Ms. Joanne Marie Devine of Bluffton, SC and the late Mr. Thomas Carr Devine Jr. of Rockville Centre, NY.
Miss Scarborough is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Yancey Wilcox Scarborough Jr. of Charleston, SC and Dr. Clyde Otamus Wells Jr. and the late Margaret Ezell Wells of Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Devine is the grandson of Mrs. Thomas Carr Devine Sr. and the late Mr. Devine of Rockville Centre, NY, Mr. Fredrick Casper Stutzmann Jr. of Garden City, NY, and Mr. and Mrs. John Sullivan of Lynbrook, NY.
The wedding is planned for June 6, 2015, at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in Charleston, SC.
