Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Donald Rigter of Mt. Pleasant, SC announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Caroline Rigter of Greenville, SC, and Ronald Reed Jacobs of Mt. Pleasant, SC, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lynn Jacobs, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Miss Rigter is the granddaughter of Mrs. Treva Dixon Hamrick of Gaffney, SC and the late Lamont Fred Hamrick and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Amos Rigter of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The bride-elect is a graduate of Clemson University, where she received a B.S. in Management in 2013 and is employed as Director of Wholesale Sales for Beija-Flor in Greenville, SC.
Mr. Jacobs is the grandson of Dr. Edwin Tiffany Hawks of Las Vegas, NV and the late Beverly Hughes Hawks of Columbia, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lynn Jacobs, Sr. of Columbia, SC. He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he received a B.S. in Animal Veterinary Science in 2013. He is employed with Titan International as a Field Technician.
The wedding is planned for May 9, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
