Our Engagement Announcement
Ms. Constance Todd Floyd of Isle of Palms, SC and Mr. Charles Thomas Floyd of Fort Mill, South Carolina are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Louise Floyd of Greenville, South Carolina, to Richard Brendan Doane, also of Greenville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lynn Doane of Kingsport, Tennessee.
Miss Floyd is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Craig Todd of Kingstree, South Carolina, Ms. Vina Vaught Floyd of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, and the late Mr. A. Earl Floyd of Manning, South Carolina. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry with Calhoun Honors from Clemson University. Katie currently attends the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and will graduate on May 8, 2015.
Mr. Doane is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Owen Norris of Johnson City, Tennessee and the late Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Doane of Kingsport, Tennessee. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and earned his Master’s in Health Administration from The Medical University of South Carolina. He is employed as a Senior Consultant with Premier, Inc.
The wedding is planned for April 18, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
