Our Engagement Announcement
Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Anderson Burris III of Charleston, SC are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Cogswell Burris of Charleston, SC, to Samuel Martin Little Jr., also of Charleston. Sam is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith Ragsdale III of Georgetown, SC and the late Mr. Samuel Martin Little of Charleston.
Miss Burris is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Harvey Cogswell III and the late Mr. Cogswell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Anderson Burris Jr., all of Charleston. She is a graduate of Ashley Hall School, and she earned a Public Relations degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at The University of South Carolina. Carrie is a Campaign Manager at The Gaillard Performance Hall Foundation.
Mr. Little is the grandson of Mrs. James Francis Queeny and the late Mr. Queeny of Duxbury, MA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Baldwin Little of Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Porter-Gaud School, and he earned degrees in both Government and Economics from Wofford College. He is an On-Premise District Sales Manager at Southern Eagle Distributers.
The wedding is planned for October 24, 2015, at St. Philip’s Church in Charleston, SC.
