Anna Spencer Whitworth and Samuel Perry Gervais

Dr. and Ms. Donald Edgar Whitworth, Jr. of Wendell, North Carolina announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Spencer Whitworth to Samuel Perry Gervais, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Gervais of Johns Island, South Carolina.
Anna completed her undergraduate degree from Furman University and a masters from College of Charleston. She is currently teaching third grade at Devon Forest Elementary in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Sam is a history teacher at Cane Bay School in Summerville, South Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and is currently pursuing a masters of History from The Citadel. A January wedding is planned in Charleston, South Carolina.
