Virginia “Ginny” Christina Cox of Summerville and Matthew Ray Crim, Jr. of Summerville are engaged to be married on May 19 in
Key West, Florida.
Ginny is the daughter of Elizabeth J. Cox of Summerville and the late Stephen A. Cox.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mildred J. DeWitt and the late Haywood Ivan Jones of Pamplico, South Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion A. Cox of Florence, South Carolina.
Matthew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Ray Crim, Sr. He is the grandson of Joyce E. Bowen and the late Glenn R. Bowen of Hannibal, Missouri and the late Lorraine B. Stock and the late Ronald J. Stock of Ladson, South Carolina.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Summerville High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina in 2006 and a Masters of Business Administration in 2011. She is currently employed by Santee Cooper.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Stratford High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Citadel in 2009. He is currently employed by DC Machine.
