TV Reporter/Bride Covers Earthquake News On Her Wedding Day, In Her Wedding Dress
Most brides take the day off of work, but Chen Ying is not most brides.
When a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck the Chinese city of Yaan on April 20, which also happened to be Ying's wedding day, the local TV reporter did the the natural thing and sprung into action, reporting on the disaster for her station.
In the viral news segment, Ying is shown interviewing and reporting in her wedding dress and veil, with a corsage on her left (non-mic) hand. The bride's shawl even gets tied into a defacto cape as to not impede her heroine reporting.
