Natalia Karpov and David Trenholm Palmer, both of New York, NY, were married on May 3, 2014, at The New York Palace Hotel. The Reverend Joel Daniels of St. Thomas Church, New York, officiated. A reception immediately followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valeri Karpov of Fair Lawn, NJ. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Yevgeniy Iustinovich Krysko and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vladimir Vasiliyevich Karpov, all of Lviv, Ukraine. She earned her B.S. from Rutgers College and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Natalia is a Senior Vice President at PIMCO, a global investment management firm.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Charles Clark Gay Jr. of Sullivanís Island, SC and Mr. George Guignard Lucas Palmer of Wadmalaw Island, SC. His grandparents are Mrs. David Cullen Humphreys and the late Mr. Humphreys and the late Rear Admiral (USN) and Mrs. George Goldston Palmer, all of Charleston. Trenholm earned a B.A. from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from the International School of Management in Paris, France. He is the Founder and Principal of DevMondiale, LLC, a Manhattan based management consultancy.
The bride was escorted and given away by her father. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal party, hosted by the groomís parents, was held at The House restaurant in New York City. The couple will take a wedding trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora in June, and they will reside in Manhattan.
