Our Wedding Announcement

Dorothy Elizabeth Strobel (Dotty) of Charleston, SC and Matthew Ladd Bell (Matt) were married on May 31, 2014, at The Pavilion at Patriotís Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Reverend Dr. Mike Shelton performed the six oíclock ceremony, and music was provided by the Charleston Chamber Players. The reception immediately followed at The Pavilion.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Strobel of Folly Beach, SC. Her grandfather is Mr. Paul Mitchum of Charleston, SC. Dotty is a 2005 graduate of Wofford College, and she works as the Digital Success Strategist for BoomTown.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Bell of Anderson, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2005, and earned his M.B.A. from The Citadel in 2007. He is employed by the Post and Courier as a Digital Account Executive.
Miss Adria Fernandez was maid of honor. Brideís attendants were Mrs. Mackall Horres, Mrs. Katie Reilly, Mrs. Erika Lamble, and Dr. Emily Boyd.
Mr. Stan Bell stood as his sonís best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Josh Allen, Mr. Brandon Graham, Mr. Dustin Campbell, and Mr. Brandon Haynie.
On the eve of the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Stan Bell hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Charleston Maritime Center. The couple will honeymoon in Costa Rica and make their home on Johns Island, SC.
