Miss Brittany Nicole Musselwhite of Charleston, SC and Dr. Allen Moffatt Wylie of Lineville, AL were married on May 31, 2014, at Circular Congregational Church in Charleston. Douglas Farmer performed the five o’clock ceremony. The reception was held at The Historic Rice Mill. The rehearsal party, hosted by the groom’s mother, was held the evening before the wedding at Bocci’s.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Musselwhite of Mount Pleasant, SC. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sutton of Jakin, GA and Ms. Mildred Musselwhite of Mount Pleasant. She graduated from the College of Charleston and works for St. Philips Episcopal Church Preschool.
The groom is the son of Ms. Elda Pumpelly of Lineville, AL and the late Mr. Ernest Miller Wylie of Augusta, GA. He is the grandson of the late Dr. Robert Allen Pumpelly of Jesup, GA. Allen is a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently a resident at The Medical University of South Carolina.
Sisters of the brides, Andi Musselwhite and Carrie Musselwhite, were maids of honor. Bride’s attendants included Lisa Hyams, Lindsay Pruitt, Julia Spurlock, and Tiffany Widener.
George Beale stood as best man. Groomsmen were Jamie Artz, Michael Beale, Dustin Brown, Gene Caballero, and Miller Wylie.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii the couple will make their home in Charleston.
