Darby Kathleen Nolan and Jeffrey Christian Zich, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC, were married on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Boone Hall Plantation, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Rev. Michael Morris performed the 5:30 pm ceremony. A reception followed at the Boone Hall Cotton Dock.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Kathleen Nolan of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late William and Margaret Nolan of West Hempstead, NY and the late David and Ruth Harwell of Tampa, FL. She graduated from First Baptist Church School in Charleston, SC and magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She is an Account Executive at High Output Television and Film Industry Suppliers in Charleston, SC.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Jacqueline Zich of Chesterfield, VA. He is the grandson of the late Rudolph and Margaret Zich of Richmond, VA and the late John and Lydia Hanbury of Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from Manchester High School in Midlothian, VA and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. He is the Regional Account Manager at Choice Products in Charleston, SC.
Jillian Sweet was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Margaret Guerin, Meghan Kane, Dawn Molen, and Dee Pennington. Marin Kellerman, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Vihaan Bharal-Zich, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Kevin Zich, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Brad Fink, Jeffrey Stevens, Dustin Willis, and Shane Winkler. Carol Hamm, Kenneth Hanbury and James Grappone were readers. Ryan and Stephanie Silvestri were violinists.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at The Charleston Harbor Fish House on October 18, 2014. The couple honeymooned in Belize and reside in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
