Catherine Coen Hendricks and Bernard Henrics Bastian IV, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC, were married on November 1, 2014. The two o’clock ceremony was held at the groom’s family beach house on Isle of Palms, SC and officiated by the Reverend Canon George J. Tompkins III. Music was provided by string trio: Jenny Weiss, Ben Weiss, and Timothy O’Malley; and piper James F. Ryan III. A reception was held that evening at the Hobcaw Yacht Club in Mt. Pleasant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anthony Hendricks of Ravenel, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Phillip Coen of Greenville, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Irven Hendricks of Charleston, SC. Catherine majored in Art History at the College of Charleston, and she works as an Event Producer for Hamby Catering and Events.
The groom is the son of Ms. Helena Griffith Bastian of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Mr. Bernard Henrics Bastian III of Easley, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. Joseph Parkwood Griffith Sr. and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Griffith of Charleston, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Henrics Bastian Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Tradd earned an M.B.A. from The Citadel, and he is a real estate agent with The Boulevard Company.
Margaret Ellen Rose Hendricks served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Therese Bastian and Kelly Elizabeth Kleisner.
