Lauren Nicole Cook and John Randall Bishop Jr. were married on November 15, 2014, at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thomas Herrington and Rev. Terry Hanna officiated. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Carolina Yacht Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Edward Cook II of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dorr Goodnough of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Edward Cook of Yanceyville, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Randall Bishop of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Harry Melville Thompson and the late Mr. Harry Melville Thompson of Greenville, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Crawford Bishop of Glendale, South Carolina.
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University and earned an M.B.A. from the Citadel. Randall graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clemson University.
Elizabeth Ryan Cook, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Amanda Scoli Osborne was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Winter Bishop, sister of the groom; Caroline Lund Frazier, Marian Pouch Hodge, Gray Hassold Hudson, Lauren Weir Lyon, Reid Hassold MacEachern, Ashley Semsar Magrath, and Mary Shaw White.
John Randall Bishop, father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Crawford Willis Bishop, brother of the groom; Charles Edward Cook, brother of the bride; Eric James Hudson, Christopher Kent MacEachern, Charles Wayne Osborne III, John Russell Robinson Jr., Kirk Mease Shields, and James McQueen Simons Jr.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held on November 14, 2014, at Carolina Yacht Club. Following a honeymoon to Anguilla, the couple will reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
