Molly Beach O’Quinn of Johns Island, SC and Brian Wayne Flowers of Summerville, SC were married at St. Luke’s Chapel in Charleston, SC on November 8, 2014. The Reverend Gene Lisenby officiated the four o’clock ceremony. Music was provided by Classical Charleston, with a special performance of “The Wedding Song” by soloist Carlyle Griffin. The reception was held at The Country Club of Charleston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry O’Quinn of Johns Island, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Edward Sharp and the late Mrs. Berniece Beach Sharp, the late Mr. Mendel O’Quinn, and the late Ms. Johnnie Mae O’Quinn Hiott, all of Walterboro, SC. Molly graduated from Bishop England High School and the College of Charleston. She received her Master’s in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she is currently employed.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Flowers of Summervile, SC. He is the grandson of Mrs. Regina Nettles Knight and the late Mr. Donald Randolph Knight Sr. and the late Mr. Harry Flowers, all of Summerville, SC. Brian is a graduate of Summerville High School, and he earned a Bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. He works for The Boeing Company.
Katie Couch, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Tiffany Brock, Taylor Copeland, Allison Czerski, Lindsay Charpia, Sabra Rogers Hand, and Melissa Flowers Thornley.
Wayne Flowers stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Don Janney, Kyle Janney, Brian O’Quinn, Tripp Poplin, and Seth Strickland.
Program attendants were Matilyn Griffin and Rebeccah Janney.
Mr. and Mrs. Flowers honeymooned in Antiqua, and they now reside on Johns Island.
