Amanda Lindsey Kilbane and Neal Kaminer Cook, both of Charleston, SC, were united in marriage on November 22, 2014. The four o’clock service was held at Grace Episcopal Church, and the Reverend Tim Canniff-Kuhn officiated. A reception followed at the Country Club of Charleston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. James Kilbane of Charleston and the late Mrs. Sherry Aultman Kilbane. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Cloey Aultman of Charleston and the late Mr. Dewey Aultman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kilbane. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2007 and received a master's degree in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina in 2008. Amanda is a teacher at Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary School.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cook of North Myrtle Beach, SC. He is the grandson of Ms. Lois Cook of Charlotte, NC and the late Mr. Roy Cook and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ready. He graduated from the College of Charleston in 2007, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from Clemson University. Neal is the Guest Services Manager at the Elliott House Inn and the owner/operator of Historic Family Tours.
Maegan Morse, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bride’s attendants included Jamie Parfrey, Michelle Tillman, Elizabeth Gibbes, and Alison Cook. Flower girl was Denver Morse.
Zack Barker stood as best man. Groomsmen included Paul Cawood, Tyler Wingard, Mark Bartholomew, and Daniel Hervig. Ringbearer was Mathis Morse.
On Friday evening the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Bowen’s Island. After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Charleston.
