Jana Bebergal Baker of Charleston, SC and Jason Erik Roth of New York City were married on October 25, 2014, at seven o’clock in the evening at Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim in Charleston. Rabbi Michael White performed the ceremony, and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra provided music for service. A reception followed at Belmond Charleston Place.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Baker of Charleston, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Bebergal and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baker, all of Charleston, SC. Jana is a graduate of Porter-Gaud School. She earned a B.A. in history from Washington University in St. Louis, and she earned her juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is a partner with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Roth of Roslyn, NY. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Roth and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sack, all of New York City. Jason is a graduate of Roslyn High School and Colgate University, and he is self-employed.
The bride was wearing the “Cassandra” strapless tulle A-line wedding dress with delicate hand beaded bodice and a sweetheart neckline designed by Kenneth Pool. Her maid of honor was Amee Lisa Baker. Bride’s attendants included Jill Bloomfield, Stacey Newman, Paige Tolmach, Julie Hellman, and Mia Hellman.
Jonathan Roth stood as best man. Groomsmen were Brad Nassau, Sanford Wels, Atif Chauhdry, and Denman Tuzo.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Cannon Green on October 24, 2014. The couple honeymooned in Australia and New Zealand, and they now reside in Charleston, SC.
