Lindsay Elise McMillan and Carlos Neil Elegado, both of Charleston, were joined in marriage on February 13, 2015. The five o’clock ceremony, officiated by Judy Halberda, was held at the Francis Marion Hotel. A reception immediately followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius H. McMillan Jr. of Charleston. She is the granddadughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius H. McMillan Sr. of Charleston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bottino of Toms River, NJ. Lindsay earned her Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2006, and she is employed by SPAWAR.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Becky Kirsch of Cantonment, FL and the late Dr. Benicio Elegado of New Orleans, LA. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel O’Neill of Rockport, TX and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ildefonso Elegado of Manila, Phillippines. Carlos earned a Bachelor's in Philosophy from the University of Florida in 1995 and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado - Denver in 2002. He is also employed by SPAWAR.
The couple will reside in Charleston.
