Anna Meggett King and Alan Wren Fogle Jr., both of Charleston, SC, were married at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer on April 25, 2015. Reverend Ryan L. Lyles officiated the four o’clock ceremony, and a reception followed at The Creek Club of I’On.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Meggett King of Charleston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Lanier Dortch of Pawley’s Island, SC, the late Mr. Henry Martin Daniels of Georgetown, SC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wilkinson King of Georgetown, SC. Anna is a graduate of Bishop England High School and Trident Technical Nursing School, and she is employed by The Medical University of South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Alan Wren Fogle of Charleston, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. H. George Dent Jr. of Charleston, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fogle of Columbia, SC. Wren graduated from Sea Island Academy and Chapman Marine Academy. He also completed Trident School of Realtors. He is employed by Fogle Associates, LLC.
Mrs. Katrina Rogers was matron of honor. Bride’s attendants included Mrs. Melynda Bradham, Ms. Katie Blume, Mrs. Rebekah Dollar, Ms. Claire Everett, Mrs. Lauren Gehlken, Ms. Amelia Handshoe, and Ms. Linsay Weber. Serving as greeters were Miss Elbie Daniels and Miss Sydney Daniels. Flower girls were Miss Eliza Bradham and Miss Jessica Rooke.
Dr. Alan Wren Fogle stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Ryan King, Mr. Grant Bentley, Mr. Martin Hill, Mr. Josh Motte, Mr. Emerson Read, Mr. Charles Rooke, Mr. Paul Rogers, and Mr. Robert Slelling. Ushers were Mr. Alan Nexford, Mr. Ryan Hanckel, Mr. Robby Renken, and Brian Montgomery. Master Guign Bradham and Master Emory Bently were the ring bearers.
The parents of the groom, Dr. and Mrs. Alan Wren Fogle, hosted a rehearsal dinner at Harborside East in Mt. Pleasant, SC on April 24, 2015. After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will make their home on John’s Island, SC.
