Leslie Forester Tanenbaum of Charleston, SC and Logan Winslow MacAlister of Pamplico, SC were married on April 25, 2015, on Bald Head Island, NC at the Bald Head Island Club. The father of the groom, Herman Dwight McAlister Jr., performed the ceremony at half past five o’clock, and a reception immediately followed at The Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Mark Charles Tanenbaum and Ms. Dorothy Jo Forester, both of Charleston, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Phyllis Karesh Tanenbaum and the late Mr. Louis Meyer Tanenbaum of Charleston, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Herbert Forester of Myrtle Beach, SC. A graduate of Ashley Hall, she earned her B.S. in Business Administration as well as a Master’s in Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dwight McAlister Jr. of Pamplico, SC. He is the grandson of Mrs. Josephine Beck Monroe and the late Rev. Paul E. Monroe of High Pont, NC and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dwight McAlister of Pamplico, SC. Logan graduated from The University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration and is employed by Infor Global Solutions as an Account Executive.
Alexis Tanenbaum Mansson was matron of honor. Bride’s attendants included Ariana Hollis Dedianko, Lauren Page Starbuck, Kristen Keen Gandy, Sarah Waller Bullock, Erin Marrone Branstrom, Katelyn Ellerbe Nichols, Julia Wooten Principe, and Anna Caroline McAlister. Flower girls were Peyton Ruth MacAlister, Eva Forester Mansson, and Charlotte Monroe Conaway.
Best man was Kenneth Alan Howle Jr. Groomsmen included John Parker Hamilton, Ronald Parker Dempsey Jr., Joseph Broughton Correll, Kip Stokes Covington, Joseph Trey Odom, Ivan Mylnor Coleman III, and Johnathan Taylor Nix.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Mojo’s on the Harbor on April 24, 2015. The couple honeymooned in Anguilla, BWI, and they now reside in Charleston, SC.
