Margaret Elizabeth Theos and John Horton Guerry, both of Charleston, SC, were married on December 5, 2015, at the River Course on Kiawah Island. Father Robert Higgins performed the ceremony at half past four o’clock. Julie Diamond Ensembles provided music for the service. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nicholas Theos of Charleston, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Jerry Theos of Charleston, SC and Dr. and Mrs. Paul Thomas Joseph, Sr. of Camden, SC. A graduate of Auburn University and The Charleston School of Law, Margaret is an Associate Attorney at Uricchio, Howe, Krell, Jacobson, Toporek, Theos, and Keith, P.A.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Lorraine Guerry, III of Columbia, SC. He is the grandson of Dr. Betty Richter Guerry and the late Dr. Paul Lorraine Guerry, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank West Horton. He graduated from The University of South Carolina and The Charleston School of Law, and he is an Associate Attorney in the Charleston office of Richardson, Plowden, and Robinson, P.A.
Ms. Pauline Theresa Theos and Ms. Katherine Sarah Theos were maids of honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. Catherine Cherof Worn, Ms. Kristen Marie Baylis, and Mrs. Jordan Florence Harper.
Mr. Paul Lorraine Guerry, IV stood as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. William Carey Cranford, Dr. Danuel Keith Snelgrove, Mr. Steven DeWitt Teaster, and Mr. Nicholas Jerry Theos.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mingo Point on December 4, 2015. Mr. and Mrs. Guerry honeymooned in Aspen, CO and they now reside in Charleston, SC.
