Anna Richardson Eagerton of Summerville, SC and George Capers Stoudenmire Jr. of Lone Star, SC were joined in marriage on October 17, 2015 at Middleton Plantation on Edisto Island. The Reverend Jerry Wiseley officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. John Eagerton and Ms. Cynthia Ann Mixson of Charleston, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kathleen Ann Mixson and the late Mr. Fredrick Mixson of North Charleston, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Eagerton of North Charleston, SC. Anna is a 2008 graduate of Summerville High School. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2013 with a bachelor of arts in communication. She is employed as marketing coordinator by Landmark Construction Company in Charleston.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. George Capers Stoudenmire of Lone Star, SC and Mrs. Paula Brunson Bishop of Sumter, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Claude Brunson of Sumter, SC and the late Mr. and. Mrs. Carl Daniel Stoudenmire of Lone Star, SC. Capers is a 2007 graduate of Summerville High School. He attended Francis Marion University and is employed by Landmark Construction Company.
Mrs. Mikael Hess Lofe was the matron of honor. Miss Tiffany Michelle Walters was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ms. Erica Lynn Kreider, Ms. Lauren Taylor Hetzel, Ms. Jessica Eden Way, Ms. Katherine Elise Mayuex, Mrs. Sarah Robinson Stoudenmire and Ms. Amanda Brooke Jones.
The bridegroom’s father, Mr. George Capers Stoudenmire, stood as the best man.
The groomsmen included Mr. Douglas Carl Stoudenmire, Mr. Jonathan Edward Eagerton, Mr. Jeffery Mac Paulling, Mr. Carl Shane Weeks, Mr. Adam Haidary, Mr. Trezevant Wienges, Mr. Marvin Benford.
The bride wore an ivory Alençon lace gown by Anne Barge.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Old Post Office Restaurant in Edisto on October 16, 2015.
The couple honeymooned in Antigua and resides in Summerville, SC.
