The Reverend Ryan Lyles officiated the 7pm ceremony and a reception followed at No. 5 Faber. The bride is the daughter of Lt. Col. & Mrs. Roger Amende of Charleston SC. Catelyn is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.
The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Melvin Billingslea Jr. of Fort Mill, SC. Christopher is a graduate of The Citadel Military College of Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Amanda Newell was matron of honor and Ms. Allison Roble was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Stacy Byrd, Ms. Caitlyn Horton, Ms. Amy Whitt, and Ms. Courtney Shippy. Flower girls were Miss Morgan Reading and Miss Adriana Lackey.
Mr. Melvin Billingslea, Jr. was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Nick Vasiliou, Mr.Kevin Bourgoin, Mr. Chris Sioma, Mr.Garrick Newell, Mr. Derek Douglas. Ring bearers were Mister Ian Newell and Mister Riley Mallory.
The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the South Carolina Aquarium on December 30, 2015.
After the honeymoon in Peru and Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Charleston, SC.
