Doris Bryant King of Charleston, South Carolina and Kevin David Korth of Hinckley, Illinois, were married on Saturday the 21st of May, 2016 in Charleston, South Carolina at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The nuptial mass was performed by Father Thomas Kingsley and the ceremony was followed by the reception at The South Carolina Society Hall.
The bride is the daughter of William Eugene King, III and Doris Hutto King. She is the granddaughter of Dr. James Walter Hutto and the late Doris Davis Hutto of Holly Hill. Paternal grandparents are the late William Eugene King, Jr. and Mrs. Ann Gonsior King. Bryant is a graduate of Holly Hill Academy and the University of Tampa in Florida and is employed with the Sacramento District Dental Society.
The groom is the son of Kenneth Korth and Cheryl Korth of Hinckley, Illinois. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Coffey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Korth. Kevin is a graduate of Hinckley-Big Rock High School and Iowa State University and is employed as a Civil Engineer with the Federal Highway Administration.
The maid of honor was Ashley E. Muir of Florida and the Bridesmaids were Savannah Elizabeth Hutto, Megan Lacey White, Kristen Victoria Thengvall, Catherine Marie Sutherland. The junior bridesmaid was Camilla Ann Hutto. The children and Bridal Bell Ringers, were cousins of the bride and groom. The flower girl was Natalie Karen Stombaugh and the ring bearers were Brandon Andrew Stombaugh and William Peyton Hartley. The Bridal Bell Ringers were Mary Grace Goldston, Robert Turner Hartley, and Jack Ford Goldston.
The groom’s best man was his brother, Ryan Michael Korth of Illinois. The groomsmen were Andrew Jon Baier, Michael Jeffery Cobler, Eric John Oros, and James Walter Hutto, III. Readers were the best man and an uncle of the groom, Mr. Steven Korth. Intercessions were offered by Reverend Michael Eugene Goldston. The gift bearers were Mr. James Peyton Hartley and Dr. Caroline Goldston Hartley.
The bride wore a gown of layered tulle with a beaded headpiece and cathedral train. Blush Pink was the floral theme throughout the wedding and reception.
The couple will reside in Sacramento, California.
