Mrs. Dominic Leone Lauren Martin Carr of St. Stephen, SC and Dominic Joseph Leone of Norwich, CT, were joined in marriage on Saturday, December 3, 2016. The 4:00 pm ceremony was held at Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC and was officiated by The Rev. Ted Duvall and The Rev. Larry Bradberry. A reception followed at Harborside East.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Donald Carr of St. Stephen, SC and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Jernigan and Mr. and Mrs. William H. Carr, all of St. Stephen, SC. Lauren holds a degree from Clemson University and is employed as a teacher by the Berkeley Country School District.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Leone, Jr. of Norwich, CT and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Leone, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Vasington, all of Norwich, CT. Dominic attended Clemson University and is employed by MLB Baseball, Toronto Blue Jays Organization.
Accompanying the bride were Molly Elizabeth Blackburn, maid of honor, and Lacey Carr Flint, matron of honor. The bride’s attendants were Jenna Carr Cummings, Rachel Grace Driggers, Sarah Elizabeth Jones, Mallory Elizabeth Powers and Stacy Lynn Shrum. Ellison Shealy Flint and Ireland Tinley King were flower girls.
Richard Michael Shaffer was the best man and groomsmen were Michael Joseph Flint, Jr., Maxwell Tyler Haines, Ryan Henry Harrington, Patrick James Sawyer, Anthony Mark Tramontozzi and Scott Bryan Weismann. Jantzen Thomas McDaniel was the ring bearer.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at Charleston Harbor Fish House on December 2, 2016.
The couple will honeymoon in St. Lucia and resides in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
