Ashleigh Marie Benda of Chapin and Theodore Joseph Petrides of Mount Pleasant were married on Friday,March 24th, 2017 at Saint Lukeís Chapel in Charleston, South Carolina. The reverend LeAnn Gardner officiated the 2:30 pm ceremony. A reception immediately followed at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw, South Carolina.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Alan Benda of Chapin, South Carolina. She is a 2010 graduate of the College of Charleston and Medical University of South Carolina nursing program. She is also a graduate from the Medical University of South Carolinaís Masters and Doctorate programs, both in Nursing. She is employed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with MUSC Childrenís Hospital.
The groom is the son of the late Corinne Denise Harrison of Mount Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Harry Petrides II of Atlanta and step son of Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Harrison of Mount Pleasant. He is a 2007 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelors in Construction Science and Management. He is employed currently as a project manager with Choate Construction Company.
The bride wore her grandmother and motherís vintage wedding gown. Her cathedral veil was made of original lace from her grandmotherís veil. The groom presented his bride with his late motherís wedding band.
A rehearsal party was hosted by the groomís parents, Mr. and Mrs. Petrides at High Cotton. A celebratory luncheon was hosted by the groomís step parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison at their home in Awendaw, South Carolina.
The couple will reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina along with their two dogs.
