Elizabeth Grace Chappell and Ross Sentel Marley

Elizabeth Grace Chappell and Ross Sentel Marley, both of Mount Pleasant, were united in marriage December 16th at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The Reverend John R. Cook and Reverend Thomas C. Harrington officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Dale Chappell of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. James H. Saye Jr. of Rock Hill, South Carolina and the late Mr. James H. Saye Jr.; the late Mrs. Ethel Grace Dodge Chappell of Rock Hill; and the late Mr. William Porter Chappell of Chester. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the College of Charleston. She is employed with ENGAGE Talent.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Sentel Marley of Mount Pleasant. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Harold Marley of Spartanburg; Mr. James Faye Gilbert of Greenville and the late Mrs. James Faye Gilbert. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of South Carolina. He is employed with South State Bank.
The Bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Music was provided by organist Jason Pedeaux and bagpipes by Peter Armstrong. Scripture read by Katherine Paget Joye of Charleston, South Carolina. Guests were greeted by Lindsey Cox Jones of Rock Hill and Heather Louise Cox of Greenville.
Matron of Honor was Hollis Chappell Infanzon of Charleston, South Carolina. Bridesmaids were Lane Hoover Chappell, Maggie Raines Chappell, and Katherine Gaulin Carter, all of Columbia; Sophie Lockwood Stokes Gotwald and Courtney Ann Alexander of Washington, D.C.; Emily Ann Purcell and Jennifer Elise Tuten of Mount Pleasant; Jordan Griffin Marley of Norfolk, Virginia; and Rebekah Jean Williams of Clemson.
Best Man was David Sentel Marley of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Groomsmen were Mark Dale Chappell Jr., James Saye Chappell, and Joseph Alexander Sherard, all of Columbia; Austin Edgar Fabian, William Heyward Bonner and Michael Gavin Fletcher,Jr. all of Mount Pleasant; Franklin Harold Davis IV of Charleston; Zachary Christopher Bennett of Florence; William Augustus Burgstiner IV of Jacksonville, Florida. Honorary Groomsman, William Marshall Talley, in absentia serving our country. Ushers were James Wade Infanzon, Thomas Conley Bryan and Louis Dawson Hassell, all of Charleston; Anthony Bo Barillo of Orlando, Florida; Andrew James Demasi, Jr. of Mount Pleasant. Ring Bearer was Marion Shuford Myers of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
A reception followed at Alhambra Hall.
After a wedding trip to Jackson Hole, the couple will reside in Mount Pleasant.
