Cameron Law Walker and Jonathan Rush Lauterer, both of Asheville, NC were married on March 17 at the Sullivan’s Island home of the bride’s father. The officiant was Dr. Thomas Horton, a former History teacher at Porter-Gaud School and long time friend of the bride’s family.
The bride is the daughter of William L. Walker, Jr. of Sullivan’s Island and Donna Church Ervin of Summerville, SC. The groom is the son of Jock Gregory Lauterer of Chapel Hill, NC, and Maggie Palmer Lauterer of Crossnore, NC.
      Ruthie Davis of Boone, N.C., niece of the groom, was the flower girl. The ring bearers were Jordan and Austin Oliver of Summerville, nephews of the bride.
The rehearsal dinner featured music by the groom’s family and included a love song by the bride and groom.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Bishop England High School in Charleston, SC. She graduated from Sante Fe School of Massage in 1997 with a diploma in Massage Therapy and is self-employed as a licensed massage therapist in Asheville.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville and holds degrees from three colleges - BS in Communications in 1998 from East Carolina University, BM in Music Education in 2004 from UNC-Wilmington and MM in Music Performance in 2012 from Appalachian State University.
The couple will make their home in Asheville.
