Ashley Arlette Heyward of Charleston, SC and LaRico Roy Deese Bolds of Jonesboro, LA, were married on March 31, 2018 at the Berkeley Country Club. Harvey Brown Officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Vera Heyward of Charleston, SC-divorced, Ronald Heyward of Goose Creek, SC-divorced, and Linda Heyward of Goose Creek, SC. The groom is the son of Latecheler and Harvey Brown of North Charleston, SC.
The bride’s father, Ronald Heyward, gave her away.
The bodice is a pearlescent white satin with lace embellishment. The sleeves are adorned with pearls and sequin in a floral motif, all down the arm to the cuff. The perfectly tailored waistline accentuates the joining of the bodice and skirt. The gown’s silken tail flows into an almost like the plumage of a bird. The heirloom veil given to the Bride by her mother, holds its ivory visage, as it crusades against breezes.
The Matron of Honor was Carol Dukes Williams. Bridesmaids were Courtney Wragg, Jahnya Jordan Heyward, and Ashley Vliet. The ladies were clad in mint gowns, trimmed in satin and lace. The Flower Girl was Jaeda Wragg. The Ring Bearer was Braylen Brown. The Usher was Wanda Wragg-Pointer.
The bride is the granddaughter of Rebecca Fields Holmes Brown of Adams’ Run, SC - deceased, London Holmes, Sr. of Adams’s Run, SC- deceased, Ella and Julius Bernard Heyward of Wadmalaw, SC- deceased. The groom is the grandson of Ruthie and James Bolds of Jonesboro, LA, Susan and Herman Lee Brown Sr. of North Charleston, SC- deceased.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of James Island Charter High School. She graduated from Liberty University in 2018. She is currently employed by Hursey Elementary School of North Charleston.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Septima P. Clark Academy in James Island, SC. He is employed by KBRWyle.
The Honeymoon location was Savannah, GA on April 1, 2018.
The couple will make their home in Charleston, SC
