Morgan Martine Bolchoz of Columbia, South Carolina and Christopher Paul Rubens of Lansing, New York were married on April 21, 2018 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Columbia, South Carolina. The Reverend Monsignor Richard D. Harris, Vicar General, presided at twelve o’clock in the afternoon. A reception followed at M Space on Lady Street.   
       The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. John Robert Bolchoz, Jr. and Mrs. Cheryl Basha Bolchoz. She is the granddaughter of Mr. John Robert Bolchoz, Sr, the late Maureen Calder Bolchoz, the late Joseph Norman Basha, and Mrs. Angela Rowland Basha, all of Charleston.
      The bride is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Business, and is employed by National Conference Services, Inc.
      The groom is the son of Mr. Daniel Brian Rubens and Mrs. Kathleen Ann Rubens. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Apgar, The late Mrs. Helen Margaret Karvalis Apgar, both of Ithaca, New York, the late Mr. Norman Lloyd Rubens and the late Mrs. Marcia Anne Schroeder, both of Rochester, New York.
The groom graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He is employed by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.
Angela Maria Bolchoz, sister of the bride, was the Maid of Honor. The Best Man was Nicholas Monaco.
The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii after the wedding and will reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
