Rose Lacy Selig and Chase Rigsby Waters were married May 19 at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Sophie Hunt Hollingsworth, their dear friend, performed the ceremony.
Ms. Selig, 27, works in non-profit advising with a focus on philanthropy and strategic management. She is a graduate of the University of St Andrews and received her graduate degree in international development management from The London School of Economics. Ms. Selig is a native of Arkansas and proud to be married in a location so meaningful to her family. She is the daughter of Rose Jean Fetting and John Mark Selig of Benton, Arkansas. The bride's mother is a psychotherapist in private practice. Her father is a Senior Vice President with Optum and The Lewin Group. He previously served as the Director of the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
Mr. Waters, 28, is a Senior Associate in Mergers and Acquisitions Tax with KPMG. He is a graduate of Auburn University, holds a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law, and earned his LL.M. in Tax from Georgetown University. He is the son of Melissa Rae Rigsby of Rush, Kentucky and David Michael Waters of Charleston, South Carolina. The groom's mother is a restaurant owner. The groom's father is a bioscience entrepreneur.
The couple met in Washington, DC and had their first date at the Tabard Inn in February 2016.
