Paul Vincent Malek and Veronique Amal Parker were married on March 23, 2018 at the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.
The bride is the daughter of Webster Parker and Moira Kaldany of Charleston, SC. The groom is the son of Richard and Catherine Malek of Brookfield, CT. The couple was thrilled to be surrounded by family and close friends who traveled from 20 different states to celebrate with them.
The bride and groom met at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012 from where they both received Engineering Degrees in 2013. The bride holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering and is employed by Boeing as a Field Engineer supporting the Air Force at Joint Base Charleston. The groom holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and recently started a Process Engineer position at Ingevity after having worked as an Engineer for DuPont.
The couple will make their home in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with their dog Basil.
