Lauren Taylor Hetzel of Summerville, SC and Blake Matthew Wyatt of Seneca, SC were married on June 9, 2018 at The Citadel Summerall Chapel. The Rev. Adam Martin performed the 6 o’clock ceremony.
A reception was held at The Dewberry Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Harriet Cox Hetzel and the late Douglas Allen Hetzel of Summerville, SC. The bride is a graduate of the College of Charleston and is employed with Change Healthcare.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Wyatt of Seneca, SC. He is a graduate of The Citadel and is employed with Sunbelt Rentals.
The maid of honor was the Bride’s sister, Mallory Brooke Hetzel. The bride’s attendants were Mrs. Meghan Traylor Cline, Ms. Victoria Louise Farnsworth, Mrs. Mary Helen Gesling, Mrs. Erica Kreider Kennedy, Mrs. Anna Eagerton Stoudenmire, Ms. Jessica Eden Way, Dr. Delaney Batson White and Mrs. Lindsey Kitterman Wyatt. The Flower girl was Miss McRae Elizabeth White along with Ring Bearers, Master Jackson Daniel Gesling and Master Batson McDaniel White.
The best man was the Groom’s brother, Barton Christopher Wyatt. The groomsmen were Mr. Benjamin Taylor Cornett, Mr. Sidney Allan Fallaw, Mr. Douglas Ray Hetzel, Mr. Tucker Thrift Hydrick, Mr. Benjamin David Kroeger, Mr. Roger David Land, Mr. Edward Enright Moore, IV, Mr. Jeffery Charles Rutland and Mr. Alfred Marcus White, IV.
The couple honeymooned in Jumby Bay and make their home in James Island.
