Sarah Lucille Eble of Mount Pleasant, SC and Christopher James Weatherston Leddy of Philadelphia, PA were married on May 31, 2014, at The Unitarian Church in Charleston, SC. The Reverend Danny Reed performed the ceremony at six o’clock in the evening. A reception followed at The William Aiken House.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Eugene Eble of Mount Pleasant. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lucille Brooks Eble of Evansville, IN and Dr. and Mrs. Larry Artope Jackson of Greenwood, SC. Sarah received a B.A. in Justice from American University, an M.Sc. in Criminology from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law. She works for The Innocence Project in New York City.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Eugene Eble of Philadelphia, PA. He is the grandson of Mr. Frank Velez of Williamsport, PA and Mrs. Lucy Ann Grimm of Rapidan, VA. He graduated from the London School of Economics with a B.A. in Management. He works in mergers and acquisitions at HSBC Bank in New York City.
Dr. Stefanie Mitchell Robinson was the maid of honor. Bride’s attendants were Miss Rebecca Schneider Casas, Miss Meghan Dunn Doherty, Miss Lauren Maureen Lampton, and Miss Ralda Rozell Stidd.
The best man was Mr. Thomas William Smith. Groomsmen included Mr. Collin Sloan Breitman, Mr. Brad Jeffrey Flaugher, Mr. Daniel Jerome Hoevel, and Mr. Jonathon Fairman Sharkey.
Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Leddy hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Charleston Yacht Club. The couple will honeymoon in the Phinda Game Reserve in South Africa and then travel to the Amalfi Coast in Italy. They plan to relocate from New York City to Philadelphia in order for the groom to attend Wharton Business School this fall.
